Voice Mail Features

Our Voice Mail will answer your phones, take your messages and page you!

We will issue you a brand new voice mail number in the area code of your choice (i.e. 310-555-5567).  We will also issue you a password that will allow you to access the voice mail system in order to retrieve messages and/or setup your own customized greeting.

STANDARD / BASIC FEATURES:

Greeting  Length (the maximum length of your outgoing greeting message):  45 seconds  (1 minute in the Metro Los Angeles area, 3 minutes in NYC)

Message Length (the maximum length of the message that a caller can leave on the system): 45 seconds  (1 minute in the Metro Los Angeles area, 3 minutes in NYC)

Message Retention (maximum length of time that a message is stored on the system): 1 day (15 days played, 30 days unplayed in the Metro Los Angeles area)

Storage Capacity (total number of messages that can be stored at any given time): 10 messages (30 messages in the Metro Los Angeles area)

Daily Calls (total number of calls you can receive daily): 50 calls

OPTIONAL / ADDITIONAL FEATURES (some features may not be available in some area codes):

Extended Greeting  Length:        3 minutes (for additional $5/month)

Extended Message Length:        3 minutes (for additional $5/month)

Additional Message Retention: 60 days, whether played or unplayed (for additional $5/month)

Additional Storage Capacity:     80 messages total (for additional $5/month)

Heavy Usage Package:            100 daily calls (for additional $5/month)

PAGING:                        This feature allows your callers to enter their "Call-Back" number, which will appear on your pager. This feature will also page you with your own voice mail number every time that a new message is left in your voice mail box.  You can use this feature if you already have an active and working pager number, otherwise you may purchase a pager from our site and have us provide you with both voice mail and paging services.

TOLL SAVER:               This feature will play two rings before your greeting if you have no new messages. This will give you time to hang up before the voice mail answers.  You will save time and money.

DIRECTORY (EXTENSION/TREE) BOXES (additional $4/month/box): This feature allows you to have multiple voice mail boxes on a tree structure. You will have the main voice mail box and then each branch will have a two digit extension number of your choice. Your callers will have the option of choosing the extension number that they want to reach and each extension will have all of the regular voice mail box features. Callers can also enter the first few letters of the name of the person or department they are calling and be transferred directly to that person, department or voice mail box.

Example:

Main message: "Thank you for calling us.  For accounting press 11, for billing press 12, for Mr. Smith press 13, for the company directory press 99"
Box #11: "You have reached our accounting department.  Please leave us a message after the tone, or press pound to go back to the main menu."
Box #12: "You have reached our billing department.  Please leave us a message after the tone, or press pound to go back to the main menu."
Box #13: "This is Mr. Smith.  Please leave me a message after the tone, or press pound to go back to the main menu."
Box #99: "For accounting, press #11, billing #12, Mr. Smith #13.  Press # to go back to the main menu.

 

GREETING ONLY: This feature allows you to use your mailbox to give information and not take a message.
